Direct Observation: Draw a cross hatched drawing of a desk, table or favorite area of your home* and its surrounding area using two point perspective. Your drawing must include a corner of the room done with appropriate two point perspective.
Use a black uniball pen or black gel pen on white paper.
Make the room appear dimly lit. I suggest to use one light on the desk being the only light source

This will take several hours. Cross hatch can be very time consuming. Allow plenty of time for this assignment.
*The area must have some rectilinear furniture.
Advanced options: Add more furniture into the space at different angles with different vanishing points.
