This is a self-portrait created during a time that we are all seeking to rise above. It has an underpainting of acrylic and charcoal then oil was layered and glazed on top. I created this piece to show my students that large-scale portraits can be expressive and fun and not intimidating at all. The artwork is currently stretched however it would be best to ship it in a tube with the stretchers disassembled. I can walk you through the assembly if needed.
