Fruit Still Life in Bowl with Colored Pencil
Medium: Colored Pencil
Direct Observation: Using colored pencil, draw a still life of a bowl of fruit nestled in cloth. Be very aware of the lighting, since this will determine the look and feel of the drawing.
Use the "dry glaze" method in which layers of color are gradually and carefully built up, starting with the lightest colors first. The final drawing should have colors that are multi-layered and saturated.
All parts of the drawing should be resolved, including the background.
